Storage Unit Alternative

Posted on Apr 29 2017 - 5:52pm

The Troop pays for a storage unit at Brea U-Store on Lambert Ave. to store our camping gear such as tents, stoves, etc. The monthly cost to rent this unit is quite high and recently increased from $180/moth to $190/month. The Troop is looking for a more affordable alternative, either in a commercial facility or at someone's home. The site has to be accessible in the evenings for gear pulls. If you have an idea on an alternative, please see Mr. Long or Mr. Matthews.

Want to be a Den Chief?

Posted on Feb 25 2017 - 11:52am

The Troop is looking for older Scouts to be Den Chiefs at local Cub Pack Dens. The Den Chief helps run the meeting and organize the Cubs to accomplish acheivements. If you are interested in this service, please see Mr. Kimball. There are Den Chief awards and patches available for those that serve. It is also a great way for the Troop to recruit new Webelo Arrow of Light Scouts to join our Troop. Want more details? See the BSA weblink below!

Parent Help Needed

Posted on Dec 17 2016 - 6:06pm

The Troop currently needs help with the following positions & tasks. Each position listed has a brief description of the duties involved. We prefer volunteers who are not already involved in a current major task so that we can maximize our parent utilziation. We need your help and service. Please see or contact Mr. Matthews if you can help. The below list represents gaps in the current leadership. If you would like a different role than listed below, there are ALWAYS openings or ways to help the primary volunteer. Think about how you would like to serve the Troop and your son's path through Boy Scouting. See Mr. Matthews or Mr. Maciel.
